After\u00a0fan photos surfaced on Instagram\u00a0and\u00a0X\u00a0on Sunday, May 11, of\u00a0Taylor Swift\u00a0and\u00a0Travis Kelce\u00a0at\u00a0Talula’s Garden in Philadelphia,\u00a0Jason Kelce\u00a0exclusively opened up to PEOPLE about how he and his family celebrated Mother’s Day together.<\/p>\n
“We had a whole crew in. We had a great brunch together, a day together,” Jason tells PEOPLE at the Amazon Upfront on Monday, May 12.<\/p>\n
Jason attended the event with his brother Travis. Their podcast,\u00a0New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce,\u00a0<\/em>is\u00a0distributed\u00a0by Amazon’s Wondery.<\/p>\n “It’s special when we all get to get together,” he says. “It’s hard. There’s a lot of things happening in everybody’s lives, so for all the girls and everybody, it was a good day.”<\/p>\n While speaking about Mother’s Day, the\u00a0ESPN commentator\u00a0also tells PEOPLE one thing he hopes his daughters inherit from his mother, Donna Kelce.<\/p>\n He and his wife,\u00a0Kylie Kelce, are\u00a0parents to 4 daughters:\u00a0Wyatt, 5,\u00a0Elliotte, 4,\u00a0Bennett, 2, and\u00a0Finnley \u201cFinn\u201d Anne, whom they welcomed in March.<\/p>\n “The thing that I would love to instill in my kids is my mom’s work ethic and her dedication and sacrifice,” he says.<\/p>\n “I think when you’re younger, you don’t realize a lot of that, but as you get older, Mom was working full-time jobs,” continues Jason. “She was cleaning a lot of the house. She was making a lot of the meals. I think at the time, it’s just your mom is being mom and you don’t realize everything that she’s doing so that you have opportunities and things to achieve your dreams.”<\/p>\n “So I think that for me, I would love my girls to really see that hard work and that sacrifice and things that have made her life amazingly successful and enjoyable,” the\u00a0former Philadelphia Eagles player\u00a0says.<\/p>\n He adds that the “biggest thing” he enjoys during the off-season is “being around the family more.”<\/p>\n “I think in season, I was doing\u00a0Monday Night Football<\/em>,\u00a0you’re doing the podcast. You’re working a lot. I did\u00a0the late-night show later in the season. So I think now that’s its the off season, you get time to be around the family more,” he says.<\/p>\n “We’re going to be down the shore a lot this year, which we’re looking forward to again, as always.
