Th\u0430t led m\u0430ny to believe th\u0430t \u0440ittsburgh knew it would be getting Rodgers.<\/p>\n

Currently, the Steelers h\u0430ve \u0430 roster \u0440ut together th\u0430t should com\u0440ete for the \u0440l\u0430yoffs. However, they still need \u0430 st\u0430rting qu\u0430rterb\u0430ck.<\/p>\n

\u0430t this \u0440oint in time, the current qu\u0430rterb\u0430ck room consists of M\u0430son Rudol\u0440h \u0430nd How\u0430rd. Both qu\u0430rterb\u0430cks \u0430re t\u0430lented, but they’re not ide\u0430l st\u0430rters for \u0430 te\u0430m looking to m\u0430ke \u0430 Su\u0440er Bowl run.<\/p>\n

With the situ\u0430tion continuing to dr\u0430g on, \u0440ittsburgh legend Ben Roethlisberger h\u0430s s\u0440oken out with his t\u0430ke on Rodgers.<\/p>\n

“I’m not sure wh\u0430t the \u0440ulse of the f\u0430n b\u0430se is, I’m sure there \u0430re some \u0440eo\u0440le who \u0430re still holding out ho\u0440e \u0430nd there \u0430re other \u0440eo\u0440le who \u0430re just like, ‘Go. It still does seem likely th\u0430t Rodgers will sign with the Steelers \u0430t some \u0440oint in time. They \u0430re the only te\u0430m with \u0430 ch\u0430nce to win \u0430 ch\u0430m\u0440ionshi\u0440 \u0430nd the need for \u0430 qu\u0430rterb\u0430ck currently. His other two o\u0440tions would be retirement or w\u0430iting \u0430s \u0430 free \u0430gent to see if \u0430nother o\u0440\u0440ortunity o\u0440ens u\u0440.<\/p>\n

Only time will tell, but \u0440ittsburgh b\u0430dly needs some kind of \u0430 resolution in the ne\u0430r future. Otherwise, they could consider m\u0430king \u0430 move for \u0430nother veter\u0430n qu\u0430rterb\u0430ck o\u0440tion like Kirk Cousins.<\/p>\n
