Lamar Jackson\u00a0and the\u00a0Baltimore Ravens\u00a0defeated the\u00a0Los Angeles Chargers\u00a030-23 in Week 12. The Ravens’ victory on “Monday Night Football” helped them advance to 8-4 on the season.<\/p>\n

Following the Ravens’ Week 12 victory, Jackson spoke with the media, discussing the team’s success against one of the top defenses in the\u00a0NFL.<\/p>\n

The Ravens finished the game with 389 total yards and 6.5 yards per play. While Jackson has received much of the credit for the offensive success, he believes running back\u00a0Derrick Henry\u00a0plays a vital role in Baltimore.<\/p>\n

Jackson explained that Henry’s versatility has helped the Ravens’ offense flourish this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s just a great all-around back man,\u201d\u00a0Jackson said. \u201cI can\u2019t give him credit enough for how locked in he is, how dynamic he is. I always say this: the name King Henry fits him well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Henry, 30, finished the game with 140 yards on 24 carries.<\/p>\n

Henry signed with the Ravens during the 2024 offseason after spending eight years with the\u00a0Tennessee Titans.<\/p>\n

He’s been one of the top running backs in the league, competing for Offensive Player of the Year with guys like Saquon Barkley and Justin Jefferson.<\/p>\n

So far this season, he’s recorded 13 touchdowns and 1,325 yards on 221 carries.<\/p>\n

While the Ravens have been viewed as\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0title contenders for the last few years, with Jackson at the helm, Henry has been a phenomenal spark for Baltimore’s offense all season.<\/p>\n
