The future of Novak Djokovic is certainly one of the most discussed issues among fans and insiders. The former world No.1 has not triumphed in a Major since the 2023 US Open and many are beginning to believe that he should abandon his dream of winning his 25th Grand Slam title given his recent negative results.<\/p>\n

The Serbian legend can no longer maintain the level consistently as he did in the past and the number of premature defeats has increased exponentially in the last year and a half, fueling his frustration.<\/p>\n

After collecting only disappointments at the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 and the Mutua Madrid Open, the 37-year-old from Belgrade made the delicate decision to skip the Rome Masters 1000 and preferred to practice in Belgrade, as well as announcing the end of his collaboration with Andy Murray after six months.<\/p>\n

Djokovic is ready for Geneva<\/h2>\n

The 24-time Grand Slam champion has accepted a wild card from Geneva ATP 250 organizers and will be back in action next week to play a few more matches on red clay before Roland Garros.<\/p>\n

Speaking on ‘Tennis Channel’, former number 23 in doubles Luke Saville advised Nole to recall one of his former coaches at this delicate stage of his career: “It’s not easy to answer the question of whether Djokovic can still win a Grand Slam title, there are too many variables right now.<\/p>\n

After the end of his collaboration with Murray, I believe that Novak should seriously think about recalling Marian Vajda or Goran Ivanisevic. Both have had a very significant impact on his career and are perhaps the only ones who can help him.<\/p>\n

If the Serbian has another chance to win a Major, I doubt it will happen at Roland Garros. He definitely has a better chance at Wimbledon and the US Open.”<\/p>\n
