President Donald Trump has never been one to pass up a chance to throw shade at pop star\u00a0Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n

The two had an ongoing rivalry dating back years when Swift called Trump out for several political incidents she took issue with.<\/p>\n

Things escalated last year when Trump took offense to Swift endorsing his political opponent Kamala Harris during the 2024 election, which he seemingly took as an escalation of the bad blood that already existed between them.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,\u201d Swift stated in her endorsement on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Trump took a few more shots at Swift during\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0LIX after she was booed by\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles\u00a0fans, and again last week during\u00a0the Eagles\u2019 visit to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl victory over the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n

\u201cHas anyone noticed that, since I said \u2018I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,\u2019 she’s no longer \u2018HOT?\u2019\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social.<\/p>\n

And while several celebrities and athletes have spoken out since in support of Swift while also criticizing Trump for spending time escalating a public feud with a pop star instead of running the country, Swift, the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs star\u00a0Travis Kelce, gained another unlikely ally this week in Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy.<\/p>\n

During an interview with Fox Business on Tuesday, Portnoy threw shade at Trump for his latest jab at Swift, claiming what he said about the 14-time Grammy winner is just factually inaccurate.<\/p>\n

“I mean, he\u2019s wrong,”\u00a0Portnoy said. \u201cLike, you can\u2019t be more wrong about anything. Taylor Swift is as hot as she\u2019s ever been in the streets. She hasn\u2019t put out new music, but if she said, \u2018Hey, snap my fingers, I want to sell 500,000 or a million tickets in three seconds and break Live Nation, she\u2019d do it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

To Portnoy\u2019s point, Swift just wrapped up her two-year long, 51-city, 21-country \u201cEras Tour\u201d last December, and she shattered the record for the highest-grossing tour in history, grossing over $2.2 billion.<\/p>\n

Swift didn\u2019t just break the previous record held by Elton John\u2019s farewell \u201cYellow Brick Road Tour,\u201d which grossed $939 million in revenue, she more than doubled it.<\/p>\n

And with rumors that a new album could be coming for Swift later this year, there\u2019s arguably never been more buzz around her music career.<\/p>\n
