Kansas City Chiefs fans will soon be able to enjoy 1587 Prime, a restaurant owned by Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.<\/div>\n

Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0tight end\u00a0Travis Kelce\u00a0has dealt with retirement rumors since he won\u00a0Super Bowl 58. Ultimately, the chance to win three championships in a row was a strong enough pull to return, but after coming up short in February, the rumors felt more relevant.<\/p>\n

He has no shortage of reasons to step away from the game. Kelce has three Super Bowls and 10 Pro Bowls to his name. He has over 1,000 receptions, 12,000 yards, and 75 touchdowns, making him a strong candidate for the title of\u00a0best tight end\u00a0of all time. With his brother, Jason, his \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast has earned a $125 million deal.<\/p>\n

Oh, and he\u2019s in a long-term relationship with the world\u2019s most famous pop star.<\/p>\n

Kelce\u2019s fulfilling off-field life is soon to grow even stronger.<\/p>\n

Kelce and\u00a0Chiefs\u00a0star\u00a0Patrick Mahomes\u00a0are currently building a restaurant, 1587 Prime, with the parent company Noble 33. The Kansas City icons revealed pictures and videos of the new restaurant on\u00a0Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe and Travis have been working on that for awhile. We\u2019re always together. We\u2019re always at these restaurants, and we have a love for bringing people together,\u201d he said in a\u00a0video fromFox 4 Kansas City. \u201cWe\u2019re going to do whatever we can to continue to bring people together and what better place than Kansas City.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both Kelce and Mahomes, through endorsements and investments, have robust non-football portfolios to add to their lucrative\u00a0NFL contracts.<\/p>\n

However, they aren\u2019t trying to price out the Kansas City faithful.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure there will be some things on there that will be $15. All honesty though, we thought about that and we don\u2019t want to make it too upscale, too high-priced that not everybody can go,\u201d Mahomes said.<\/p>\n

The venue, named after their numbers, is set to open in Kansas City later in 2025.<\/p>\n
