Dallas Cowboys pass-rushing linebacker Micah Parsons has personally told the football world he’ll be at mandatory mini-camp next week.<\/div>\n

Micah Parsons being in and out of\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0OTAs wasn’t the biggest of deals, with the All-Pro making his way to The Star after the most recent practice.<\/p>\n

But with his contract situation still not resolved, all eyes are on mandatory mini-camp next week and whether or not “The Lion” will be in attendance.<\/p>\n

“I expect to see him,” head coach Brian Schottenheimer said.<\/p>\n

And now\u00a0Micah himself has confirmed his attendance via X\u00a0regardless of whether a deal is done or not.<\/p>\n

“I will be there! I haven\u2019t missed a mini camp in 4 years! Even though the contract is not done, I have teammates and a playbook ! I\u2019m preparing as if I will be on the field the first week of camp! But it\u2019s in the owner\u2019s hands. I\u2019m ready to win a\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0!”<\/p>\n

Cue a\u00a0collective sigh of relief\u00a0with perhaps Dallas’ best player not letting his contract situation interfere with his football.<\/p>\n

Of course, in an ideal world, Dallas and Micah would come to terms sooner rather than later, but with Parsons expected to fetch a contract around $40 million APY, Jerry Jones stated that No. 11 must be the player he wants to be paid like.<\/p>\n

And that means showing up for work.<\/p>\n

Which Parsons has done to a degree during OTAs, and now he’s confirmed he’ll be at The Star next week for the mandatory portion of this early offseason work.<\/p>\n

Part of a new-look leadership group, Parsons knows the value of being there for his teammates and to learn a new playbook.<\/p>\n

So with or without a contract, Micah will be present next week.<\/p>\n
