Cowboys stars Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs have both reported to the team’s mandatory minicamp on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0are entering a\u00a0new era under head coach Brian Schottenheimer in 2025. Dallas made some impressive offseason moves over the past few months that have them ready to compete this fall. The Cowboys also got some good news today at the start of mandatory minicamp.<\/p>\n

Cowboys stars\u00a0Micah Parsons\u00a0and\u00a0Trevon Diggs\u00a0are\u00a0both attending mandatory minicamp, per The Athletic’s Jon Machota.<\/p>\n

This is a big development for the Cowboys to have two star players back with the team.<\/p>\n

Parsons has been in a contract dispute with the Cowboys\u00a0this offseason. He is seeking a massive multi-year extension with Dallas and is rumored to be looking for $200 million on the new deal.<\/p>\n

Cowboys fans, and the rest of the NFL media, have\u00a0critiqued the Cowboys for dragging their feet\u00a0on extending Parsons.<\/p>\n

Still, Parsons promised that he would attend minicamp and he delivered.<\/p>\n

\u201cI<\/span>\u00a0will be there,\u201d Parsons posted on social media on Wednesday. \u201cI\u00a0<\/span>haven\u2019t<\/span>\u00a0missed a mini-camp in 4 years!\u00a0<\/span>Even though the contract\u00a0<\/span>is not done<\/span>, I have teammates and a\u00a0<\/span>playbook<\/span>\u00a0!<\/span>\u00a0I\u2019m<\/span>\u00a0preparing as if I will be on the field the first week of camp! But\u00a0<\/span>it\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0in the\u00a0<\/span>owner\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0hands.\u00a0<\/span>I\u2019m<\/span>\u00a0ready to win a Super\u00a0<\/span>Bowl !\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Parsons added that he did not want to \u201cgive away any money for fines either.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Hopefully the Cowboys finally lock Parsons up on an extension before the start of the regular season.<\/p>\n

Is Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs fully recovered from his knee injury?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The return of Trevon Diggs is a great sign that he is on the mend.<\/p>\n

Diggs has been away from the team this offseason while\u00a0he rehabs his surgically repaired knee. As a result, he has missed the first two phases of the team’s offseason program.<\/p>\n

Diggs is taking his recovery seriously and has been rehabbing in Miami. He may even\u00a0leave some money on the table\u00a0if he misses enough offseason activities. Perhaps that helps explain Diggs’ presence in Dallas this week.<\/p>\n

Either way, the Cowboys will get a good look at Diggs at mandatory minicamp. They will likely play it safe with Diggs this offseason and not rush him back onto the field if he is not ready.<\/p>\n
