The charge of “attempted murder with a firearm” is in the warrant for the arrest of Antonio Brown after an incident that allegedly involved the ex-star in during a celebrity boxing event in Miami last month.<\/div>\n

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of former\u00a0NFL\u00a0superstar\u00a0Antonio Brown\u00a0on a charge of attempted murder.<\/p>\n

The charge of “attempted murder with a firearm” in the warrant, according to\u00a0The Washington Post, is the result of a shooting that Brown was allegedly involved in during a celebrity boxing event in Miami last month.<\/p>\n

The warrant instructs Brown to post a $10,000 bond and to remain on house arrest until trial.<\/p>\n

Brown took to X to give his\u00a0account\u00a0of the incident, which happened in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood on May 16. He notes that he was “jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some video circulating, police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me.”<\/p>\n

Brown was detained at that time by police after gunshots were supposedly fired at the boxing event, which was hosted by online streamer Adin Ross.<\/p>\n

But now, according to the warrant, witnesses have told police officers that Brown was the shooter, and that two shell casings were found at the scene. One man involved in the conflict alleged that Brown “began to run toward him with a firearm” and shot at him twice.<\/p>\n

Brown’s response? A series of tweets that include a photo of him in boxing gloves, another picture accusing somebody else who “did it,” and a video of him riding a bike.<\/p>\n
