NHL rink side reporter Jackie Redmond has been forced to make an embarrassing U-turn about\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/span>\u00a0attending Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Early Monday, Redmond told fans to ‘get excited’\u00a0before saying ‘not confirmed, but according to a good source’.<\/span><\/p>\n

A few hours later, Redmond, who also works for the\u00a0WWE<\/span>\u00a0as a broadcaster, pulled back her near-guarantee.<\/p>\n

‘My “good source” has been downgraded to just a “source” – might\u2019ve gotten bad info on this,’ Redmond said on X.<\/p>\n

Swift and Kelce attended Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Thursday night at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, watching the Edmonton Oilers defeat the\u00a0Florida<\/span>\u00a0Panthers in overtime.<\/p>\n

The venue was close to an offseason home that Kelce has in southern Florida.\u00a0While exciting, there were plenty of reasons to believe why Kelce wouldn’t be showing up – even if there’s the possibility of the Panthers clinching back-to-back Stanley Cups.<\/p>\n

The rink side broadcaster has pulled back the claim that the A-list couple will be at Game 6<\/p>\n

For starters, the Chiefs begin their mandatory minicamp on the same day as Game 6.<\/p>\n

This camp runs the entire week – with all 91 preseason roster players expected to be in attendance, with fines kicking in otherwise.<\/p>\n

The fine for missing one day of mandatory minicamp is over $17,000 – with fines for missing the whole week ballooning up to $104,768.<\/p>\n

Now, with that said, it is possible for Kelce to hop on a private jet right after Day 1 of minicamp ends, drive to the airport, fly the three hours from Kansas City to south Florida, drive to the arena just in time for puck drop and watch the game before flying three hours back, and landing at home at some ungodly hour of the morning before reporting back to training camp the next day.<\/p>\n

But, Kelce\u00a0also did just get back from France<\/span>\u00a0on Monday after spending time in Cannes with his brother Jason at a panel discussion hosted by Amazon.<\/p>\n
