As he works toward winning his 25th Grand Slam title, the 38-year-old star says that looking after both his body and mind is what keeps him going strong.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent conversation with podcaster and digital content creator Ben Johnson, Djokovic opened up about his everyday routine, which includes everything from gratitude and meditation to smoothies and sea swimming.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Novak Djokovic\u2019s morning starts with gratitude<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Djokovic doesn\u2019t begin his day by checking his phone or jumping straight into training. Instead, he starts with a quiet moment. \u201cThe very moment I wake up is always a prayer. It\u2019s always an expression of gratitude, first of all, to be alive, to have another chance to live that day,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n<p>Right after that, he hydrates with a special drink, lukewarm water mixed with lemon, a pinch of salt, and a hydration mix to restore minerals.<\/p>\n<p>Breakfast is light but healthy. He often drinks smoothies made with fruits like berries and dates, along with superfoods like hemp seeds, maca powder, and blue spirulina. \u201cI love dates, I can have dates all day,\u201d he shared. I would maybe drink a green tea once in a while,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Whether or not he has a tennis session, he stays active every day. His favourite activities include swimming in the sea, biking, hiking, running, and playing football, basketball, padel, or even ping pong. For Djokovic, movement is not just about fitness\u2014it helps him stay calm and focused.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-ie-network-blocks-also-read undefined ie-network-also-read\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ending the day with recovery: Ice baths to sauna sessions<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>After staying active all day, Djokovic ends with recovery. He uses ice baths and sauna sessions to relax his muscles and prepare his body for the next day. These help reduce soreness and keep his energy levels high.<\/p>\n<p>This shows that for Djokovic, wellness isn\u2019t a trend, it\u2019s a way of life.
