Then her mom \u201cdoubled down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kylie Kelce\u00a0really thought she was going to wait until marriage to have sex, until a comment from her mom made her reconsider.<\/p>\n<p>Kelce, who affectionately calls her mother \u201cLil Lis,\u201d recalled the sweet story during her latest\u00a0\u201cNot Gonna Lie\u201d podcast\u00a0episode with her guest, rugby player extraordinaire\u00a0Ilona Maher.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI like, bombarded her, and, like, came in and sat in her room while she was doing something,\u201d Kelce shared. \u201cI told her, I was like, \u2018I think I\u2019m gonna save myself for marriage.\u2019 And she was like, \u2018I think you\u2019re gonna change your mind.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I was like, no, I\u2019m pretty sure I\u2019m pure,\u201d Kelce quipped.<\/p>\n<p>Kelce said her mom then \u201cdoubled down\u201d on her comments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was like, \u2018Hey, you gotta test drive a car before you buy it, right?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The podcaster praised her mom\u2019s frankness, and said her willingness to talk about sex made it feel \u201cless risky\u201d and \u201cless scary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt opened up like, if my choice is not to stay pure towards marriage \u2015 news flash, didn\u2019t stick, naturally \u2015 but if it wasn\u2019t that, my mom was like, \u2018You\u2019re good.
