Colin Cowherd<\/strong>\u00a0loves his blunt hot takes, and there\u2019s every chance that his recent take on the Dallas Cowboys\u2019 new head coach,\u00a0Brian Schottenheimer<\/strong>, might turn out to be true. Like every year, Cowherd predicted the outcome of both the AFC and the NFC.<\/p>\n The Wednesday episode of\u00a0The Herd<\/em> contained all his juicy takes on the AFC, and the following day, he dropped a few bombs regarding the NFC. Cowherd kicked off the episode by declaring that Schottenheimer will lose his job after just one year.<\/p>\n To put weight behind his argument, the veteran analyst pointed out the recent string of coaches who were fired after just one year.\u00a0Antonio Pierce<\/strong>\u00a0was the name that popped up a couple of times. Pierce\u00a0became the head honcho\u00a0in 2024 after serving as the acting coach following\u00a0Josh McDaniels\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0departure in 2023.<\/p>\n The Raiders finished with just four wins, and owner\u00a0Mark Davis<\/strong>\u00a0didn\u2019t hesitate to fire Pierce. Cowherd claimed that Brian Schottenheimer will meet the\u00a0same fate as Antonio Pierce.<\/p>\n Brian Schottenheimer is a one-and-done. Jerry will know by Thanksgiving that he made a huge mistake. Forget the fact that Philadelphia and Washington will probably both blow them out in the division twice<\/em>.<\/p>\n Colin Cowherd said<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
