The 2025 edition of the Wimbledon Championships has a very special value for Novak Djokovic, because it could really represent his last chance to make tennis history. The third Major of the season \u2013 which begins on Monday, June 30 \u2013 could allow Nole to lift the 25th Grand Slam trophy of his endless career, while becoming the oldest player to achieve such a feat.<\/p>\n

The former world No.1 will have many obstacles on his run and will have to play his best tennis if he wants to prevail in London for the eighth time, thus equaling the record of his former rival Roger Federer. The Serbian legend has also reached the final at Church Road in the last two editions, but a deluxe version by Carlos Alcaraz prevented him from completing the work, leaving him with several regrets.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old from Belgrade will make his debut against French ace Alexandre Muller on Tuesday 1st July and could face Jannik Sinner again in the semifinals, as had already happened at Roland Garros a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n

Djokovic changes his fitness coach<\/h2>\n

Yesterday, the 24-time Grand Slam champion had a practice session with Carlitos Alcaraz on Centre Court and showed that he is in good shape ahead of the official matches.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, eagle-eyed fans have noticed how Novak has made a change in his team. His fitness coach\u00a0Phil Gebhard-Gritsch has left the Serbian champion’s team, who has hired Dalibor Sirola in his place.<\/p>\n

The latter had worked at Riccardo Piatti’s academy so far and had collaborated with Sinner in the past, when the Italian star was at the beginning of his brilliant career.<\/p>\n

This is not the first time the former world No.1 has changed his team members this season, considering that he had started 2025 alongside Andy Murray.<\/p>\n
