Tom Holland\u00a0was reportedly rushed to hospital after cracking his head during a stunt while filming the latest\u00a0Spider-Man\u00a0film.\"AThe actor, 29, allegedly suffered a concussion after hitting his head during a fall on the\u00a0Spider-Man: Brand New Day set\u00a0at Leavesden Studios in\u00a0Watford, Hertfordshire, on Friday.<\/p>\n

A woman, thought to be his stunt double, was also taken to the hospital in an ambulance, per\u00a0The Sun.<\/p>\n

Filming was reportedly suspended for the\u00a0fourth installment\u00a0in the Marvel franchise\u00a0while Holland was treated in hospital.<\/p>\n

Holland will reportedly be taking a break from filming \u201cout of precaution\u201d and is expected to return to set in a few days.<\/p>\n

The Avengers star attended a charity dinner in Mayfair with his father Dominic and\u00a0co-star and fianc\u00e9e Zendaya, 28, on Saturday but left early after feeling ill.<\/p>\n

A source told The Standard: \u201cGuests were told about Tom\u2019s concussion at the fundraiser, where he was praised for showing up despite the injury.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe left soon after the meal began when he started feeling unwell.<\/p>\n

\u201cZendaya stayed with his family so the focus remained on raising vital funds for The Brothers Trust, which means so much to them all.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is believed Holland\u2019s fall at work could lead to an investigation by the Health and Safety Executive.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were called at 10.30am on Friday to attend to a patient who had sustained an injury at Leavesden Studios in Watford,\u201d an East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn ambulance was sent to the scene, and the patient was transported to hospital for further care.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Standard has contacted Holland\u2019s representative for comment.<\/p>\n

Filming on Spider-Man: Brand New Day began in August and the blockbuster is expected to be released in July 2026.<\/p>\n

It is directed by Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings director, Destin Daniel Cretton.<\/p>\n

Holland and Dune star\u00a0Zendaya\u00a0met on the film franchise.<\/p>\n

His father\u00a0confirmed earlier this year that the couple are engaged.<\/p>\n

The previous three Spider-Man movies \u2013 Spider-Man: Homecoming; Spider-Man: Far From Home; and Spider-Man: No Way Home \u2013 were directed by Jon Watts.<\/p>\n

In the most recent film in 2021, Holland\u2019s alternate Spider-Men, played by Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in other movies, ended up coming in to contact with each other due to a multiverse event.<\/p>\n
