MIAMI \u2013 It was a\u00a0big win for the Miami Heat over the Toronto Raptors, 121-111, in their last NBA Cup group play game that ended up being a full team effort. While one of the highlights was\u00a0Heat star Bam Adebayo recording his eighth career triple-double,\u00a0another was also Terry Rozier with his late-game heroics, which garnered the attention of Jimmy Butler.<\/p>\n

Before Friday\u2019s game,\u00a0Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra called Rozier\u00a0the team\u2019s \u201cX-Factor\u201d and spoke about how he\u2019s embraced his new role coming off the bench. Butler would go as far as to say to ClutchPoints that the 30-year-old guard is a bonafide\u00a0\u201cstar\u201d and even express that he does not think he could make that change.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t consider him an x-factor. I think he\u2019s a star, and he\u2019s just starring in a new role,\u201d Butler said. \u201cNot gonna lie, I don\u2019t think I could do it, but kudos to him for doing whatever the team needs for him to do, and he comes in, and he plays the same role, being aggressive, getting everybody involved, guarding, and he\u2019s a big piece and a big reason we\u2019ve been in the game and that we have won games as of late. So whatever his role has been, he\u2019s damn good at, and I appreciate him for it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
