In a recent interview, Curry\u00a0discouraged the idea\u00a0of Kerr continuing his controversial 13-man rotation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Naturally, it didn’t take long for Kerr to respond to his starting point guard’s disbelief in his contentious strategy.<\/p>\n

“As soon as you lose, you\u2019re going to have guys that are (expletive) off,” Kerr said. “I\u2019ve been in their shoes. I used to be (expletive) off at my coach all the time when he didn\u2019t play me. That was most of my career. This is how it is. It\u2019s the NBA. It\u2019s a competitive, vicious league. Four games ago, we\u2019re on top of the world. Everybody\u2019s happy. Now we\u2019ve lost four in a row. Everybody\u2019s (expletive).”<\/p>\n

The Warriors’ 2024-25 season went downhill since De’Anthony Melton’s campaign ended due to an ACL injury. Golden State went 3-5 since losing Melton. In light of such a pivotal piece tore a hole in Kerr’s 13-man rotation, the fall from such a hot start seemed inevitable.<\/p>\n

Although Kerr has a point about people living in the moment rather than understanding the road ahead and what could occur before reaching the destination, his 13-man rotation received skepticism from multiple highly respected basketball minds, including ESPN’s Tim Legler.<\/p>\n
