The music outlet placed the 43-year-old above Swift\u2019s second place standing on Tuesday and cited Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s \u201cfull 25 years of influence, evolution and impact\u201d\u00a0as their reasoning<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Not long after they made the announcement, the singers\u2019 respective fan bases took to social media to argue which of the Grammy winners was more deserving of the coveted spot.<\/p>\n
