Kelleher \u2018disappointed\u2019 as Liverpool throw away 3-2 lead<\/h2>\n

Speaking to\u00a0Amazon Prime\u00a0after the full-time whistle, the\u00a0Liverpool\u00a0manager revealed that Kelleher was \u2018disappointed\u2019 in the dressing room after allowing Newcastle to score a late goal against the Reds.<\/p>\n

With\u00a0Ben Foster recently lauding Kelleher\u2019s performances for Liverpool, the 26-year-old goalkeeper will feel like he let his side down after such a costly mistake, with the Anfield side\u2019s lead at the top of the Premier League cut to seven points.<\/p>\n

And Kelleher was seemingly frustrated after the game, with Slot saying when asked how Kelleger is feeling: \u201cLike all the players, disappointed. Two times we were a goal down, so in these moments you would have been happy with a point but if you are 3-2 up you\u2019re close to a win.<\/p>\n

Kelleher has been one of Liverpool\u2019s outstanding performers this season, with the Cork-bork shot-stopper one of the key reasons why the Reds have been as good as they have been in recent weeks under Slot.<\/p>\n

And the Dutch coach will be fully aware that Kelleher will bounce back from his mistake tonight against Newcastle, with the 26-year-old having the perfect opportunity on the weekend against Everton.<\/p>\n
