Tennis has long been a platform for brand partnerships, especially since Rolex\u2019s sponsorship of Grand Slams in the late 1970s and Andre Agassi\u2019s collaboration with Ebel in the 1980s. Hublot, a relatively unknown brand outside of watch enthusiasts, partnered with\u00a0Novak Djokovic\u00a0three years ago. Earlier this week, the brand\u00a0created a limited edition Big Bang Unico watch, marking their first joint project.\u00a0The launch event, held at the historic H\u00f4tel d\u2019\u00c9vreux in Paris, was attended by journalists and guests from around the world. The details of the product has blown Djokovic\u2019s mind!<\/p>\n
This 42mm timepiece features a unique case and bezel made from recycled materials, including Djokovic\u2019s Head racquets and Lacoste polos from his record-breaking 2023 season.\u00a0The watch incorporates subtle tennis-themed details, such as tennis ball-shaped screws, a yellow second pusher, and Djokovic\u2019s logo on the seconds hand and oscillating weight. This limited edition timepiece celebrates Djokovic\u2019s achievements and Hublot\u2019s commitment to sustainable innovation. Mind you, the watch is priced $52,400.<\/p>\n
Taking to his\u00a0official TikTok handle, Djokovic showed off his watch from the \u00a390 billion($113 Billion, as of 2023, brand). Djokovic could be heard saying,\u00a0\u201cOkay, what do we got here? Oooooh, this is nice. Look at that, wow\u201d\u00a0<\/em>\u201cIt\u2019s been a very long time that I\u2019ve been waiting for this watch to arrive. Wonderful. So good. And knowing the story behind it and that it\u2019s made out of recycled clothes and tennis racket materials that I play with. It\u2019s phenomenal.
