Rafael Nadal is one of the best tennis players of all time, and he’s apparently pretty good at football; however, acting doesn’t seem to be his strongest suit. As a professional athlete, acting ranks pretty low on the list of required skills, but he’s no stranger to the camera.<\/p>\n

Even with all that experience, Nadal likely isn’t staring at a second career in Hollywood, at least not according to his most recent acting stint. The Spaniard did a commercial for the app Playtomic, which allows amateur tennis players to connect with other players of a similar rank. In the video, Nadal is seen doing a couple of takes of different scenes with the directors providing him input on what to adjust in his acting.<\/p>\n

The nature of the skit is pretty comedic because it’s obvious that Nadal is doing a few things on purpose, and he’s providing commentary about the app in real-time, commentary that differs quite a bit from what he’s actually saying. He’s way more critical of the app in his mind than what he’s speaking in the commercial.<\/p>\n

Overall, though, it was a pretty cool sequence from Nadal, who, as we mentioned above, is no stranger to the camera.<\/p>\n
