NFL officials were once again the focus of a\u00a0Monday Night Football\u00a0game in 2024.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

The\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0found another way to lose in heartbreaking fashion at their home venue of AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The Cincinnati Bengals took advantage of a punt the Cowboys blocked but then muffed to give quarterback Joe Burrow and Co. an extra possession and a 27-20 lead with 1:01 remaining in the fourth quarter.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dallas would turn over the ball on downs on their final drive of the contest, and the Cowboys would drop to 5-8 on the season. They are now three games back from the Washington Commanders for the NFC\u2019s seventh seed with four games left on their schedule.<\/p>\n

The NFL officials made a bad call<\/h2>\n

The Bengals\u2019 extra possession after having their punt blocked was karma after league officials missed an obvious\u00a0facemask\u00a0on quarterback Joe Burrow on a third down play that would force Cincinnati to have to punt the ball away.<\/span><\/span>\"Ezoic\"<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Fans were not amused by the missed call by the officiating crew.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey need to start taking game checks. It\u2019s literally every single week,\u201d\u00a0suggested\u00a0a poster.<\/p>\n
