The 2024 NFL season has not gone to plan for the Dallas Cowboys.
Despite being a playoff team last year, the Cowboys have been one of the worst teams in the league.
They’ve been hit with numerous injuries, similar to many other teams across the NFL, but for whatever reason, they’ve been unable to overcome them and win many games.
With the current state of the team in mind, fans and analysts project major changes for the Cowboys in 2025.
Richard Sherman recently highlighted a potential replacement for Mike McCarthy in a recent episode of his podcast.
“Something tells me Jerry is gonna be at the Alamo Bowl,” Sherman said, indicating that he could be keeping a close eye on Deion Sanders.
Sanders, of course, is a legendary NFL athlete in his own right and has plenty of experience in the league as a player.
He hasn’t coached at the highest level, but since he has been so impressive as a college coach, NFL teams are seemingly interested in giving him a shot.
After all, the Cowboys might be in a position to draft his son, Shedeur, which would allow them to start over with a new QB and a coach that have naturally built-in rapport.
Whether the Cowboys make a run at both Sanders’ remains to be seen, but major changes seem inevitable at this point.
