Micah Parsons and Bryce Young’s exchange following the Dallas Cowboys-Carolina Panthers game was caught on camera, and sure enough, the NFL couldn’t help but react to it.
The Cowboys beat the Panthers, 30-14, on Sunday, with Cooper Rush playing his best game so far this 2024 season. The backup QB, who took the starting role since Dak Prescott’s injury in Week 9, threw for 214 yards and three touchdowns. Two of his three TD passes came in the third quarter, helping Dallas pull away from Carolina after a 10-7 first half.
Parsons, for his part, had four total tackles, along with two sacks, two tackles for loss and two quarterback hits.
The Cowboys’ defensive star certainly made life hard for Young, who finished with 219 yards and a touchdown against two interceptions. The Panthers QB did score a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter, but he was never really able to get the Carolina offense going.

Despite their intense battle, both Parsons and Young showed their respect for each other after the contest. The two shared a postgame handshake and exchanged some pleasantries.
The NFL shared a photo and video of the moment, writing in the caption, “All respect,” along with the 100 emoji.
It’s certainly a nice gesture between both players. While they were competitors earlier in the day, they made it clear that they have nothing but admiration for each other.
As for the results of the contest, the Cowboys’ victory allowed them to improve to 6-8 on the season and stay in contention for the playoffs. The Panthers, meanwhile, dropped to 3-11 on the campaign as they continue their rebuild and give Young some much-needed experience.
