Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been the hot topic of conversation this season with his MVP-level performances.
However, this time, he goes viral for something else.
The two-time MVP circulated for saying he likes wearing women’s perfume sometimes to diversify his scents.
“People may not know this about me, but I prefer girl perfume, something real soft,” Jackson said. “So that’s what made me wanna create something unisex instead of just all about us men.”
Of course, NFL Twitter ran with this, with many clowning the MVP candidate.
“Okay imagine you’re playing defense in the NFL Lamar breaks your ankles with his shimmy and as he’s running towards the end zone you catch a whiff of rose petals,” one user said.
However, some hopped to his defense, saying that Jackson taking a more feminine approach to his presentation was perfectly normal.
The Ravens play the New York Giants (2-11) Sunday afternoon. New York is the only NFC team Jackson lost to in his career. Even with the Giants’ lackluster record, Baltimore must take this matchup seriously. A loss this Sunday all but knocks them out of the race with the Steelers for the AFC North title.
Meanwhile, Jackson is slowly losing his lead in the MVP race. Standout performances from Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills) and Saquon Barkley (Philadelphia Eagles) are slowly taking the Ravens quarterback out of the conversation.
