Many exciting moments and performances from Week 15 may have made it hard for Fox broadcaster and analyst Tom Brady to choose his “3 Stars of Week 15.”
Of course, the regular season has just three more weeks left, which means MVP candidates are starting to form more clearly, and one has made Brady’s list
That player being Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who helped lead Baltimore to a 35-14 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday.
“For the fourth time this year, Lamar Jackson is one of my stars of the week,” he said. “He carved up the Giants defense all day.”
His numbers completely back up Brady’s selection, and his claim that Jackson “carved up the Giants defense” is spot on.
He finished the game by completing 21-of-25 passes for 290 yards, 5 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, a 154.6 passer rating and 65 rushing yards.
Also, as Brady mentioned, this is the fourth time he’s chosen Jackson to make this weekly list, with the other times coming in Weeks 10, 9 and 5.
No other player has made it that many times, including Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who’s emerged as the MVP favorite.
Currently, ESPN BET has Allen with the highest odds to win MVP at -900, but Jackson isn’t too far behind at +650.
