BREAKING: Draymond Green Reveals Honest Opinion of Grizzlies After Warriors’ 51-Point Loss..

There’s just no two ways about it. The Golden State Warriors were utterly humiliated on Thursday night after they found themselves on the wrong end of a historic 51-point loss against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Their 144-93 defeat on Thursday represented the fifth-worst loss in franchise history, which is all you need to know about how poorly they played against a hungry Grizzlies side.

To make matters worse, Steph Curry and Draymond Green combined for just two points in this embarrassing blowout. Curry went 0-of-7 from the field (he scored his only two points via the free-throw line) while Green missed all four of his shot attempts on the evening.

For the first time ever, Curry and Green were both held without a single field goal in a game.

Green spoke to reporters after the game and it was only at that point that he learned about his unfortunate record with Curry. The former Defensive Player of the Year even joked about it before revealing his honest thoughts on the Grizzlies’ performance on the evening.

“Damn, that happened? Oh (expletive), that’s crazy,” Green said, via CBS Sports. “But it ain’t because I didn’t make a field goal. No, I’m just playing.

“No, they did a good job. Give them some credit.”

The Grizzlies definitely deserve a ton of credit for their masterful defensive effort against the Warriors on Thursday night. Curry is widely regarded as the greatest shooter to ever pick up a basketball and for Memphis to prevent him from making a single field goal for an entire game says a lot about their game plan and their effort against the former back-to-back MVP.

A bit of a silver lining here for the Warriors is the fact that they won’t need to wait very long before they get a chance to exact some revenge on the Grizzlies. These two teams go at it again on Jan. 4 at Chase Center.

At this point, you can be sure that Curry, Green and the rest of the squad have already circled that date on their calendar.
