The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans 27-19 in Week 16. While Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce hauled in five catches for 30 yards, his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was cheering him on at Arrowhead Stadium.
The pop star made a head-turning entrance to GEHA Field, along with her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift. Before kickoff, Operation Breakthrough, a nonprofit that provides education and aid for children of need, revealed the singer made a $250,000 donation to the foundation..
Kelce, the Chiefs’ nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, has worked as an advocate and financial supporter of Operation Breakthrough for the past decade.
Swift made another incredible gesture after the Texans-Chiefs game. The day before her 35th birthday, the “Karma” singer made a surprise visit to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. One of the patients she visited complimented Swift’s green plaid skirt-and-jacket set. “Her outfit was tea,” Naya said.
Swift then sent a surprise Christmas gift to the young girl on Dec. 22.
Swift sent her the $2,250 Miu Miu shirt and $2,250 Miu Miu skirt that she wore that day, including a black leather jacket. The 14-time Grammy winner included a person message, as well.
Swift wrote in part, “When you asked where I got it, I purposely didn’t tell you because i had a plan 🙂 Picked you up a few things I hope you’ll think are tea. Ha.…Merry Christmas! Love, Taylor.”
Fans gushed over Swift’s thoughtful present. One woman commented, “What an unforgettable gift for the fan. She will forever remember.” Another person wrote, “i’m crying bye.”
One Swiftie posted, “the absolute kindest 🥹🥹.” Another fan added, “She is genuinely the sweetest person ever like no one does these things.”
While Swift goes out of her way to make others feel special, Kelce does the same for her. In the days leading up to Texans-Chiefs game, photos from the surprise Eras-themed party the All-Pro threw for his girlfriend filled social media.
