Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors have had their fair share of struggles as of late. After starting the season 12-3, they dropped nine of their next 12 games, including a 51-point blowout against the Memphis Grizzlies.
However, on Saturday evening, Golden State, without forward Draymond Green, bounced back with a solid 113-103 win over Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves, ending its latest three-game drought.
Curry led the game in scoring, tallying 31 points on 10-of-21 shooting and 7-of-16 from three. The former Davidson Wildcats star also tallied three rebounds and a game-high ten assists.
Following the win, Curry made a nice gesture, giving his game-worn shoes to a young fan at Target Center in Minneapolis.
However, an older fan apparently took the shoes from the kid, which left the four-time NBA champion upset and forced Curry to spring into action.
“Hey, yo,” Curry yelled as he pointed at the older fan. “Give it to him. Get the shoes and give it to him.”
Curry has now played two games alongside his new teammate, Dennis Schroder, after the Warriors acquired him in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for De’Anthony Melton. In Schroder’s two games with his new team, both as a starter, the German guard has averaged 7.0 points on 25% shooting and 4.0 assists in 25.0 minutes per game.
Prior to joining Golden State, Schroder was having one of the best seasons of his career in Brooklyn, averaging 18.4 points and 6.6 assists.

Curry and the Warriors now sit at 15-12 on the season, good for a spot in the play-in tournament. They will head back to the Bay Area for a two-game homestand, starting with the Indiana Pacers on Monday.
