Dwyane Wade and his partner, Gabrielle Union, have been enjoying the holiday season with their children at the beach. Union shared their family getaway on Instagram last Monday, showcasing how happy they are with each other ahead of Christmas.
Union uploaded 13 pictures in the IG post, with the first one showing her kissing Wade on the cheek while they were wearing winter clothes.
“Kisses come standard, mistletoe optional ❄️,” she captioned the post.
The slideshow also featured their youngest child, Kaavia, who posed with the family in her pink winter attire. Kaavia looked annoyed in one of the pictures, to which Wade jokingly made fun of her in his Instagram story.
“If I send you this, I’m tired of your s**t,” he wrote.
In the fourth slide of the post, Union also included a four-word message, signifying how special it was for her to spend the holiday season with her loved ones.
“Location: with my faves,” the picture reads.
Aside from the beach photos, the couple also showed off their contrasting Christmas outfits, with Wade wearing an all-black attire while Union boasted her grey outfit, highlighted by her braided hair.
The two had a momentous year, with Dwyane Wade’s immortalization with the Miami Heat earlier this season. On the other hand, Union filmed three movies: Space Cadet, Riff Raff and The Casket Girls.
Dwyane Wade shares how busy the family is ahead of Christmas
The day before Christmas Eve, Dwyane Wade shared how his family was preparing to celebrate the festive season together. In her Instagram stories, she shared glimpses of their busy preparations, featuring him and Gabrielle Union smiling through the hectic holiday rush, as they did some last-minute holiday shopping
Here are some of Wade’s IG stories:
In another story, Wade uploaded a picture of their daughter, Kaavia, sharing a bed with her god-sisters, while watching something on television.
“Spending this Christmas with her God sisters.” the NBA legend wrote with the “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” jingle in the background.
Kaavia is Wade and Union’s daughter via surrogate, as the latter struggled with infertility throughout their relationship. Nevertheless, Union has shown incredible love to her daughter, even writing about her in her memoir “We’re Going to Need More Wine.”
“I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” she wrote. “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”
Just like any mother, spending Christmas with her daughter was a precious moment for Union and her partner Wade.
