🚨Arsenal are now looking to sign ‘European goal machine’ – Victor Osimhen

Last summer, Arsenal tried to sign Victor Osimhen because they needed a strong, accurate scorer. However, the deal fell through, and Osimhen ended up going on loan to Galatasaray from Napoli. Now, Osimhen is doing great in the Turkish Super Lig. He has scored eight goals in nine games and looks like he will help his team win the league title.

Arsenal back in Victor Osimhen hunt

Arsenal looked at many choices when they needed a new striker, such as the Slovenian forward Benjamin Šeško. However, they changed their minds and both Osimhen and Šeško missed chances.

This season, Arsenal has had trouble scoring when they had the chance in important games like their recent games against Inter Milan and Chelsea. Finishing has been a problem for the Gunners for a while now, and Osimhen might be the player who gives them the goal-scoring edge they’ve been missing.

Mark Schwarzer, a former goalie in the Premier League, recently spoke out about this on the Optus Sport Football Podcast. He said that Osimhen is exactly what Arsenal needs because he is a “proper old school number nine” with flair, speed, and a natural eye for goal.

But Schwarzer also talked about the problems that would come up with the money for such a move. He said, “He’s like a real old-school number nine, but with flair, speed, and an eye for goal. Against Tottenham, he could have had at least four or five.” The question is whether you pay 120 or 130 million Euros. “Well, I guess they did it with Declan Rice, right?” This cost factor is especially important now that Arsenal has recently bought Declan Rice, which shows the club is ready to pay a lot for the right player but might not be able to make a lot of big moves at once.

Osimhen: Galatasaray propose 3 players in intriguing exchange to Napoli for discount

There’s a case to be made that Osimhen could change Arsenal’s attack, but Mikel Arteta’s methods and style of play might make it hard to adapt. How well Osimhen fits into Arsenal’s system would probably rest on how flexible Arteta is. It’s clear how good Osimhen is, but Arsenal has faith in Arteta’s long-term vision, so they may keep looking at their options. As January comes, it remains to be seen if Arsenal will revisit this interest or look for other ways to improve their goal-scoring.
