Rush went 13-of-23 passing for 45 yards in the loss at AT&T Stadium. He also lost two fumbles against the Eagles. Lance saw most of his action in the fourth quarter when the Eagles were up 28-6. The former first-round pick by the San Francisco 49ers went 4-of-6 for 21 yards and one interception.
Neither quarterback looked great in the first game after Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending hamstring injury against the Atlanta Falcons. McCarthy decided to stick with the veteran for the Cowboys’ matchup against the Houston Texans on Monday night.

Per the Cowboys injury report in Week 11, Rush’s name was added for having a neck issue. He was a full participant at practice.
The injury is concerning for Rush and the Cowboys. Given the type of injury, Rush’s status could be fluid during the week. Aggravating a neck injury is the last thing Rush or the Cowboys want this season.
Rush is entering Week 11 having thrown for 212 yards, one touchdown and one interception in 2024. Per ESPN, the 30-year-old quarterback has a 24.8 QBR.
