Novak Djokovic, who is scheduled to compete at the Australian Open, will be wearing a Lacoste kit at the tournament. The 37-year-old is scheduled to commence his 2025 season with the Brisbane International, following which he will play at the Australian Open, which is slated from 12 January to 26 January 26, 2025. The kit that the Serb will be wearing has surfaced this week on social media.

The pictures showcased the design of the player’s kit, which has a blue-colored T-shirt with black stripes, with the Lacoste logo on the left. Along with the T-shirt, a zipped sweatshirt, and pants in the same color but with a black ombre print, are also a part of Novak Djokovic’s kit.

Djokovic wrapped up his 2024 season after competing at the Davis Cup Finals. Before that, he competed at the Six Kings Slam in Riyadh, where he squared off against Rafael Nadal in the third-place battle, and won their last match 6-2, 7-6(5). The Serb also reached the finals of the Shanghai Masters after besting several players, such as Alex Michelsen, Flavio Cobolli, Roman Safiaullin, and Jakub Mensik.

In the final, he was up against Jannik Sinner who won the match 7-6(7), 6-3. Currently, the Serb is in his off-season and is preparing to kickstart his 2025 tennis year. He is scheduled to commence his season by competing in the Brisbane International, which will start on December 27 and will conclude on January 5, 2025.

Novak Djokovic is ready for his second appearance at the Brisbane International, as his first participation in the tournament was 16 years ago in 2009. In a recent interview, he opened up about playing at the event and said that he was excited for the same.

He also spoke about receiving the love and support from his Australian fans. Djokovic said (via Eurosport),

“I’m excited to be kicking off my Australian swing at the Brisbane International and to compete again at Pat Rafter Arena. I am looking forward to experiencing the incredible support from the Australian fans and making this tournament one to remember.”

Novak Djokovic will be teaming up with Nick Kyrgios for the doubles competition at the Brisbane International. It will be the first time that Djokovic takes to the court since takin on Andy Murray as his coach.
