Dak Prescott embraces special phase of his life
It was the first Christmas celebration for the couple with their daughter, Rose, who was born on Feb. 22, 2024. She is the couple’s only child, though they are expecting another daughter soon, likely by May 2025.
Jane announced her pregnancy through a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit maternity shoot earlier. Prescott has embraced fatherhood, taking on his new role and diaper-changing duties with excitement.
“Yeah, I feel different, especially waking up in the morning; you see that baby and understand the responsibilities,” Prescott said (per Daily Mail).
It is also reported that the second child will have “Rayne” as her middle name, honoring Dak Prescott. The quarterback was born Rayne Dak Prescott but is now simply referred to as Dak.
“Everything that I’ve always wanted for myself, but to want that for somebody else even more. It’s special. Everybody’s healthy and at home. We’re blessed,” Dak said.
Prescott proposed to his longtime girlfriend this October, and the couple will now have to plan for their upcoming baby and wedding.
Dak Prescott becomes Santa Claus for children
But Prescott isn’t celebrating Christmas alone this season. Due to his unfortunate injury earlier this season, he has enough time to engage in social activities. Earlier, he went into Santa Claus mode and gifted 30 children from St. Philip’s School in Dallas.
Prescott shared a message for his fans in a video:
“It’s about creating memories, spreading joy, and supporting the next generation. Let’s keep fighting the good fight together! Merry Christmas!”
Prescott, known for his charity work, is reported to have donated $15,000 for the event through the Faith Fight Finish organization in association with DICK’s Sporting Goods. The children received gifts from Prescott and later enjoyed grilled cheese sandwiches from Ruthie’s For Good.
