The Kansas City Chiefs have been rolling through their recent schedule, sitting at 15-1 on the season.
They’re the hottest team in the AFC, riding a six-game win streak after defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers 29-10 in Week 17.
During the win over the Steelers, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce made franchise history.
Kelce passed Chiefs legend Tony Gonzalez for the most touchdown receptions in franchise history. Gonzalez hauled in 76 touchdowns during his time with the Chiefs, from 1997-2008, and Kelce caught his 77th against the Steelers.
Two days after achieving the feat, the Chiefs posted a short video while sending a strong message about his NFL success.
“Best in the business,” the Kansas City Chiefs posted.
Upon the release of the Chiefs’ social media post, some fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts on Kelce.
“Travis Kelcie is awesome,” said one fan.
“Not anymore… but more than good enough at 35, GOAT,” said another fan.
“Yes, The Best TE 100%!” mentioned one fan.
“How’s the team feeling after that amazing win?” commented one fan.
“The goat,” said one fan.
“Their dominance on the field is unmatched. Let’s keep cheering them on to more victories!” said another fan.
Kelce finished the game against the Steelers with one touchdown and 84 yards on eight receptions. The 35-year-old’s season totals now sit at three touchdowns, 823 yards and 97 receptions.
The Chiefs have one game remaining on their regular season schedule, having already clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.
Kansas City will face the Denver Broncos in Week 18 to finish the 2024 regular season.
