Travis Kelce showed signs of anxiety and awkwardness on his latest date with Taylor Swift, a body language expert has revealed – following reports that he is facing pressure from his family to propose.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, and the singer, also 35, put on a loved up display as they stepped out in Manhattan on Saturday night.
Travis sported a vibrant look wearing a red, denim jacket that was unbuttoned at the front as well as a pair of matching, loose-fitting trousers.
As for Taylor, she put on a leggy display in a black minidress which she paired with a long, black coat that had sparkling, silver embellishments embroidered throughout the warm material.
While the football star’s outfit may have oozed confidence, UK-based body language expert Judi James has revealed to DailyMail.com that Travis did not seem at ease during the outing.
Judi noted that the athlete seemed to ‘show some signs of awkwardness or anxiety,’ days after a source told DailyMail.com that he’s facing pressure from his family to ask Taylor to marry him.

‘His hand clasp with Taylor shows his hand firmly on top and their fingers meshed, showing closeness, but his free hand seems to touch his stomach and move about in a way that suggests he feels under pressure,’ she explained.

‘His teeth looked clenched and his head is bowed at times, which is an unusual attempt to hide from the press from a guy who normally loves the attention.
‘Taylor looks confident and sociable here, but Travis seems to be in a contradictory state. So, the question is, why the apparent anxiety?
‘If he is on the brink of proposing these symptoms would fit but they could also occur from a man who’s avoiding commitment while under pressure to propose.’
Judi added that Travis ‘upped his game in terms of the kind of gentlemanly rituals’ like he did early on in their romance.
‘The past few days he seems to be hopping round Taylor again, using touching and steering rituals to suggest he wants to treat her like a princess,’ she said.
Last week, an insider told DailyMail.com that Travis feels ‘overwhelmed’ by the pressure to propose to Taylor.

In pictures from the party, eagled-eyed fans claimed that the hitmaker’s left ring finger looked ‘blurred,’ while others suggested she was purposely hiding her finger from view.
This immediately sparked a wild theory that Taylor had purposely ‘edited out’ an engagement ring and that Travis had already proposed.

Insiders have previously said that both parties are ‘well briefed’ on the level of speculation surrounding the hopes of their engagement, with Taylor being far more experienced about this level of public scrutiny.
