Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs locked up the AFC’s No. 1 seed with their Week 17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day. Now, as they head into the final week of the regular season, many expect the Chiefs to rest their starters in the finale.
On New Year’s Eve, many popular sports figures took to social media to celebrate their experiences in 2024. Kansas City wide receiver Mecole Hardman was no exception.
His post contained multiple photos of his time on the Chiefs and his family and friends. However, one photo the former Georgia Bulldogs star included was with him and Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, at what appeared to be her “Eras Tour” party early in December.
“2024 🤝🏾✨ ———> 2025 ⏰🤑🗣️,” Hardman captioned the post.
Many fans were quick to point out Hardman’s photo with the Grammy Award-winning musician, leaving their thoughts on social media.
“Awe! Tay and Mecole!” one fan wrote.
“Mecole shared this pic of him and Taylor,” added another.
“Taylor and Mecole 🥹,” posted a third.
“Taylor Swift and UGA in the same post I die you are the MAN,” commented a fourth.
Hardman’s fiancee, Chariah Gordon, has become quite close to Swift since she started coming to Chiefs games dating back to September 2023. Now, Gordon considers the “Bad Blood” singer her “sis.”
“I actually got a chance to meet her at Trav’s house, and she was just super, super sweet,” Gordon told Glamour in November. “And since then, we’ve been super cool,” she said. “I call her my sis. That’s my sis.”

Like Hardman, Gordon also made an appearance at her recent party, proving so with a separate Instagram post regarding Swift.
“That girl in any ERA,” Gordon captioned her post.
Hardman and Kelce have been teammates for all three of the Chiefs’ recent Super Bowls. They will look to win their fourth and secure the NFL’s first-ever three-peat to start 2025.
