Tyreek Hill has sensationally claimed he wants to leave the Miami Dolphins after missing out on the NFL playoffs for the first time in his career.
Hill fell short of a 1,000-yard season and the Dolphins went 8-9, missing out on the postseason after a Week 18 loss to the Jets in New York.
The wide receiver than stunned reporters in the locker room when he claimed he ‘wants out’ of the franchise.
When asked to reflect on his season, he said: ‘At the end of the day, there’s a lot of things I need to reassess about my career, and just see what I need to do to continue to get better as a player so I can continue to reach that 1,000-yard mark.
‘This is my first time I haven’t been in the playoffs. I’ve just got to do what’s best for me and my family, if that’s here or wherever the case may be.

Hill missed out on the NFL playoffs for the first time in his nine-year career this season
‘I’m opening that door for myself. I’m out, bro. It was great playing here but at the end of the day I got to do what’s best for my career. I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there.’
Shortly after, Hill took to social media and did little to dampen the flames when he wrote: ‘Love fin nation blessing yall opened doors for the Hill family forever nothing but respect and love.’
Hill finished the season with 939 receiving yards, failing to hit 1,000 for the first time since 2019.
As a nine-year NFL veteran, the wide receiver had reached the playoffs in every season until now, first with the Kansas City Chiefs and then with the Dolphins from 2022.

He is a Super Bowl champion – in 2020 with the Chiefs – and an eight-time Pro Bowler, and his shock comments after the season finale will leave many teams intrigued as to the possibilities ahead of the 2025 season.
Hill, 30, is under contract until 2026 with the Dolphins after signing a three-year, $90million restructured deal ahead of the 2024 season.
The receiver endured a tough start to the 2024 season after he was detained for a minor traffic violation on his way to Hard Rock Stadium for the season opener.
Shocking video saw him being pinned to the ground by cops, but he went on to still play against the Jaguars a few hours later, catching seven passes for 130 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown.
