Taylor Swift is the ultimate cheerleader when she attends Kansas City Chiefs games to support her boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce.
Ever since Swift first started dating Kelce, she’s attended 21 Chiefs games, during which Kansas City are 18-3. At every matchup, the 34-year-old pop star stands up to applaud not just when Kelce makes a play, but any time the team finds success of the field.
Swift’s role as an excited spectator, of course, reverses when she’s on stage performing during her Eras concert tour. The “Karma” singer kicked off the Canadian leg of her Eras tour with a show in Toronto on Nov. 14.
While Swift was thrilled to perform in front of a sold out crowd at the Rogers Centre, she became overwhelmed with emotions during a special part of the show.
During each concert, Swift takes out her earpiece to truly hear the crowd and soak in her fans’ support. While the singer’s been on tour since March 2023, something about the standing ovation during Night 1 in Toronto brought her to tears.
One fan commented, “Seeing her so moved is everything.” Another person wrote, “This moment is so special that one completely loses themselves in it.”
One woman wrote, “You can’t fake this. She looks genuinely moved.” One Swiftied added, “you can tell she’s going to miss this so much after the tour ends 🥹🥹🥹.”
The 14-time Grammy winner has two more shows in Toronto before taking a four-day break and returning to the Rogers Centre for another three concerts.

Due to the convenient timing and location, rumors swirled that the NFL conspired to make it easy for Swift to make it the league’s primetime afternoon game. However, there’s no truth to the rumors.
“Completely unintentional,” a league source told CBS Sports earlier this week about the scheduling.
