The Las Vegas Raiders’ quarterback woes continued with their Week 11 34-19 loss to the Miami Dolphins. While Gardner Minshew wasn’t terrible in the loss, he threw his ninth interception of the season and couldn’t keep the offense moving consistently.
It’s no secret that the Raiders are likely one of the teams that will be looking into drafting a quarterback in the offseason. Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders has commonly been linked to the franchise, and fans are starting to believe that he’s hoping to be in Las Vegas.
Following the Raiders’ loss to the Dolphins, Sanders posted, “Thank you GOD” on his X account.
That may seem innocuous, especially on a Sunday, but many have noted that Sanders has been posting the exact same message after every Raiders loss this season. What only adds fuel to the fire is that he hasn’t posted the message following the team’s two wins and didn’t post during their recent bye week.
It may be a coincidence, or Sanders could be trolling at this point, but it’s certainly notable. There is still a lot of time before the 2025 NFL Draft kicks off, so it’s possible that another quarterback emerges as a better fit for the Raiders. For now, it seems like Sanders is hoping to be in Las Vegas this time next year.
