The Buffalo Bills are set to host the Baltimore Ravens Sunday at 5:30 p.m. ET in one of the more anticipated divisional-round playoff matchups in quite some time.
It’ll be a rematch of a Week 4 showdown when Lamar Jackson and the Ravens spanked Josh Allen and the Bills 35-10 in arguably Buffalo’s worst performance of the season.
The Bills entered the week as the slight betting favorite, but the line is now swaying in the Ravens’ favor as of Tuesday morning.
“It’ll be a nice week, and everyone will be looking forward to it, and they’re a great football team,” Bills head coach Sean McDermott said after Sunday’s win over the Denver Broncos. “They handled us pretty good the first go-around and they’re certainly playing well, well-coached. [Ravens coach John Harbaugh] won a Super Bowl and comes from great pedigree, so it’ll be a big challenge for us.”
Ahead of Sunday night’s game, the Bills announced their “Legend of the Game” for the Ravens rematch.
None other than longtime NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who played for Buffalo from 2009 to 2012, will be honored ahead of the game, and fans took to social media to share in the excitement.
“Of course it’s him,” one person said.
“If he’s not shirtless, then what the hell are we doing?” joked another.
“Confirmed. I’ll be wearing my @FitzMagic_14 jersey for the game! Thanks for supporting us, bud! Go Bills!” offered a third.
“Game. Set. Match. Bills by a Billion,” predicted another.
“Kyle was Awesome. This?… this is a whole another level we’ve yet to reach… Oh boy I wish I was going to be there. GO BILLS!!” added another.
Baltimore and Buffalo will round out the divisional round of the playoffs as the last game of the weekend. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on CBS.
