CeeDee Lamb added fuel to the fire after details of a conversation between Deion Sanders and Jerry Jones were revealed.
According to FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones spoke to Colorado head coach Deion Sanders about the head coaching position.
Neither side has confirmed anything, but the reports raised eyebrows.
Sanders made headlines with his tenure at Jackson State before Colorado hired him.
After a bad first season, he helped turn it around as the team finished 9-4.
After missing the playoffs this year, the Cowboys want to drastically improve, and Sanders might be the person to do it.
Dallas Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb made his opinion known when he took to Instagram and “liked” a post regarding Sanders’ conversation with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones about their coaching vacancy.
As for if Sanders might be coming to Arlington, he would text Adam Schefter on Monday night and made it seem like he and Jones had more of a friendly conversation than a formal job interview.
“I love Jerry and believe in Jerry,” Sanders told Schefter. “After you hang up, and process it, and think about it, it’s intriguing. But I love Boulder and everything there is about our team, the coaches, our student body, and the community.”
Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb Had an Outstanding 2024 Campaign
It is quite unfortunate that CeeDee Lamb was so outstanding in 2024 and did not get to do it on a winning team.
Lamb already etched his name in the Dallas Cowboys record books with a historic campaign in 2023.
Although the season may not have turned out as anyone had hoped, there are still some positives to be taken from it.
Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was selected for the 2025 Pro Bowl.
In 2024, Lamb appeared in 15 games for the Cowboys and caught 101 passes on 152 targets for 1,194 yards receiving and six touchdowns.
