Taylor Swift has spoken out about the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, which have killed more than 25 and destroyed more than 12,000 structures.
On Thursday afternoon, the pop star, 35, took to social media to share her reaction to the worst natural disaster in California history as the deadly wildfires continue to race through Southern California for a ninth day.
‘The fires in California have devastated so many families, and it’s been heartbreaking to see the stories unfold,’ she wrote in a post, uploaded to her Instagram Story. ‘So much suffering, loss, and destruction.’
The Lover hitmaker continued: ‘As many people embark on some of the most challenging times of their lives, there are also many amazing organizations and groups banding together to help these communities rebuild.’
She went on to reveal she has made donations to 211 LA, California Community Foundation Fund, Direct Relief and Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation, among others.
The 14-time Grammy winner also shouted out Habitat For Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Los Angeles Unified School District Education Foundation Emergency Relief Fund, MusiCares and Pasadena Educational Foundation Eaton Fire Response Fund.

‘If you feel compelled or able to donate, please do,’ she wrote in her sweet message to her more than 282 Instagram followers.
‘Thank you @taylorswift for sharing and supporting 211 efforts during these hard times,’ 211 LA wrote on their Instagram Story.
LA Regional Food Bank reposted her Instagram Story, alongside a message, which read: ‘Thank you @taylorswift [white heart emoji].’
Her generous donations comes just weeks after making a $250,000 contribution to Operation Breakthrough, which provides education and aid to children and families in poverty.
Operation Breakthrough has provided a safe and loving environment to Kansas City families since 1971.
Over the past year, Swift’s charitable acts have also included donating to numerous food banks across the country, visiting patients at Children’s Mercy Hospital in December and giving out $197 million in bonuses to everyone working on her Eras Tour.
In October 2024, she gave $5 million to support communities affected by both Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
A year prior, she donated $1 million toward disaster relief efforts in Tennessee following storms.

She also made a $100,000 donation to assist the family of a woman who tragically lost her life at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade in February 2024.
During her massively successful Eras Tour, Swift has consistently supported food banks in the cities she visited, including the Edinburgh Food Project and the Arizona Food Bank Network.
Swift also has a history of supporting survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and animal foundations as well as advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights and directly lending a helping hands to fans.
Among her most generous acts include donating $30,000 to a fan’s GoFundMe college fund, $30,000 to a fan’s GoFundMe college fund, $13,000 to two mothers’ GoFundMe pages that were struggling to pay rent amid the COVID-19 crisis and giving $50,000 to a mother-of-five that lost her husband whose husband died of COVID-19.
