Djokovic has 2,000 of these very “rich” plants on his property: They’re worth up to €13,000 per hectare – NEWS USA

Tennis player Novak Djokovic has built a villa in the village of Pavlovci in Vojvodina, Serbia’s northern province, which leaves visitors breathless with its size, and has direct access to Pavlovacko Lake.

His oasis of peace is located in the picturesque village of Pavlovci, on the slopes of Mt. Fruska Gora, between Irig and Ruma, and he has 2,000 lavender plants there as well.

“The Djokovic family is wonderful. We are very happy to have worked in their yard. We planted 2,000 lavenders and all this along the path that leads from the gate to the house,” said the people who created the garden. They also revealed why they planted so much lavender.

“Ha, ha… Well, because they probably like those flowers. But there’s something about lavender that repels mosquitoes, so they liked that too, because they don’t want that type of disturbance when they’re enjoying their property in the summer.”

Otherwise, just one lavender plant costs at least 300 dinars, which means that Nole cashed out more than 6,000 euros for this one type of plant, not counting paying the workers who planted them.”

Novak Djokovic built a magnificent stone cave and a swimming pool on this property as well.

It was extremely important to the Djokovic family that the weekend home be built in nature, so they chose greenery hidden away from the public eye.
