Lamar Jackson is a two-time MVP and does not get the same respect from the refs as Patrick Mahomes does.

During the divisional round game against the Buffalo Bills, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback was running for a first down when he took a late hit out of bounds.

It was clearly out of bounds, and we have seen flags fly for much less.

Unfortunately for Lamar, he did not see any yellow material hit the ground.

‘Imagine if that was Mahomes getting assaulted out of bounds instead of Lamar,” one fan wrote on X.

Fans online began to rip the refs for not protecting Jackson as they would’ve done so if his name was Patrick Mahomes:

“The fact Lamar can’t get a late hit flag is fucking crazy on God @NFL y’all racist asf,” one fan said.

“That was late on Lamar. Should’ve been a penalty. These refs and how they call the game are so inconsistent. If it was Mahomes, he would’ve got a 15-yard penalty 🤷‍♂️,” another fan added.

“Where is the late hit on Lamar lmao. I can only imagine if that was number 15 on the Chiefs,” another fan said as they invoked Mahomes into the conversation.

“That no-call late hit on Lamar is why people hate Mahomes. He gets that call every time,” a fourth fan added.

“If Mahomes got hit late like Lamar just did, they would have stopped the game and publicly executed the guy at the 50-yard line,” one final fan said of Lamar Jackson not getting respect.

Lamar Jackson And The Ravens Are Down Double Digits

The Ravens have some work to do.

The team went down 21-10 at halftime to the Bills.

Lamar Jackson will need to be superhuman if he wants a chance to play the Kansas City Chiefs in the next round.
