Taylor Swift seems keen to shake off any accusations that she is a ‘distraction’ to her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend – by jetting back to New York a little over 24 hours after his tight win against the Houston Texans .
Travis Kelce was hit with a barrage of criticisms after his slow start to the season, with many experts quickly blaming his off-season partying with Swift.
The 35-year-olds were quick to spend every moment together during the summer months, with him following her around the world during her jet-setting Eras Tour.
But the Grammys hitmaker now seems to be more conscious than ever to allow her tight end boyfriend to fully focus on his upcoming AFC clash with the Buffalo Bills on January 26. Victory would see Kelce and the Chiefs return to the Super Bowl once again.
It is likely that she’ll return to Arrowhead Stadium to support him for the game but quickly returned to New York on Monday after spending just a day with Kelce.

Insiders claim that Swift and Kelce managed to have a few hours alone together while her private jet took her parents, Scott and Andrea, back home to Nashville.
She seemed on top of the world as she celebrated her boyfriend’s success at Arrowhead but turned tail back to New York on Monday before he returns to practice.
Kelce had a slow start to the campaign, and it ended with one of his lowest production seasons in his career.
The 823 receiving yards he put up and the three touchdown catches he had were both the lowest he’s ever had since his rookie campaign.
But against the Texans, he was back to his fantastic best. He scored a touchdown in the 23-14 win and recorded seven receptions for 117 yards.

Her decision to leave Travis to focus on his game comes after he spoke of how the songstress has been supporting him throughout their relationship.

‘I’m enjoying all aspects of life,’ Kelce told Stephen A. Smith, the longtime host of ESPN’s morning show ‘First Take’.
‘Me and Taylor are happy and I couldn’t be happier to enjoy that comfort and confidence off the field and all the support I could ever ask for at the stadium, man.’
Kelce also said that the support he gets from Swift is a two-way street, and that he works hard to make sure she feels that he is there for her.
‘Well, I think personally, that’s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft, focus on being the best version of you,’ Kelce said.
‘That’s why I wanted to be at the concert, supporting her and being there for her, making sure she feels comfortable and supportive and everything she’s doing in life.
‘I think I’m as focused as I’ve ever been on my job and being the best player that I could possibly be week in, week out for this team. It’s because I don’t have to worry about things off the field.’

Swift has been a regular at Chiefs home games this season and the team are now one win from the Super Bowl, held in New Orleans next month on February 9
Kelce’s girlfriend has been to 20 games since their romance first started in September 2023, 14 of which have come at home.
Swift only missed one Chiefs home game throughout the entire regular season – and that was due to a clash with the final run of her sold-out Eras Tour show.
The singer has yet to take her place in the stands of any Chiefs road games this season, skipping visits to Atlanta, LA, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Buffalo and Carolina among others.
It is unclear if Swift will be planning to attend the Super Bowl in New Orleans, given her concerns over safety following a break in at Kelce’s home and terror threats at her Vienna shows.
