Kylie Kelce hilariously reveals why her father had doubts about Jason before he nailed meeting her parents.

Jason Kelce left no room for questions when he met Kylie Kelce’s parents for the first time, despite her father’s skepticism.

The pair met on a dating app in 2014 while Kylie was still in college and Jason was in his early years with the Philadelphia Eagles.

In the latest edition of her Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce Podcast, the 32-year-old revealed how her now husband ‘nailed’ meeting her parents for the first time.

Jason first met my family at my aunt’s house in North East Philadelphia,’ Kylie said, responding to a fan question. ‘I extended an invitation to him because my family always has an open door policy for whoever wants to come and I thought, for sure, that he would say no.’

‘And then he didn’t,’ she added. ‘He showed up and he ended up with him in an above-ground pool in the front of my aunt’s. So he actually nailed that first impression.

‘My family thought he was a good time, he was very sweet. And it eased my dad’s worries about the fact that I was dating a professional athlete because, you know, not a great reputation going on for them.’

In an earlier episode, Kylie detailed how Jason would walk across her campus at Cabrini University after spending the night at her dorm, leaving other students puzzled.

‘I met Jason on Tinder while I was still in college which is hilarious,’ Kylie shared. ‘And he would come to campus. He stayed over in my dorm more than once.’

‘When I tell you I would have people in class two days later say, ‘Oh, so-and-so was talking about how they were walking to their 8am and saw Jason Kelce walking across campus to go to his truck,” she continued.

‘And I was just like, Oh god, this man must really love me because why the hell else?’

Since then the pair got married and had three daughters together.

Jason played 13 years with the Eagles and became a beloved figure at the City of Brotherly Love until his retirement in 2024.

The Cleveland Heights native hung his cleats up with a Super Bowl title, six First-team All-Pro nods, and seven Pro Bowl appearances.
