Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy wants the referees who officiated Sunday’s AFC Championship Game to be thrown in jail for what he reckons was blatant cheating.
The Buffalo Bills were the victims of some questionable calls on the night as they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, including one in the fourth quarter that proved a turning point after they were denied a first down on a fourth-and-one, although Joe Allen appeared to be over the line.
Portnoy went on a two-minute rant in which he advocated for the refs to be imprisoned while asking for the same thing for Bills head coach Sean McDermott for calling a tush push instead of literally anything else.
He also claimed he would never watch football again after what he witnessed.

Of course, this was heat-of-the-moment stuff for Portnoy. He’s definitely watching football again and will be back for more in two weeks’ time when the Super Bowl takes place.
Portnoy was also steaming because he bet $1 million on the Bills to win the Super Bowl before they even got there. Maybe he should be the one who goes to jail…
