However, last year’s event turned tragic when gunfire erupted shortly after the rally concluded, resulting in one fatality and 22 injuries.

The violence stemmed from an argument that escalated, leading to four individuals being charged in connection with the incident.
Shifting the focus to safety
In response, Kansas City officials have approved a new plan for any potential Super Bowl LIX celebrations. Instead of the usual rally at Union Station, the Chiefs are expected to hold a more controlled event at Arrowhead Stadium, with attendance primarily limited to players, their families, and select personnel.
