According to the latest rumors, Novak Djokovic’s injury to his left thigh was less serious than expected and the Serbian legend is expected to participate in the Doha ATP 500. The former world No. 1 suffered from this physical problem during his quarterfinal match against Carlos Alcaraz at the 2025 Australian Open, before retiring in the semifinals after losing the first set to Sascha Zverev.

Initially, it was rumored that the current world number 6 was supposed to be out for a fairly long time – about two months – but this news has been denied in recent days and Nole should be regularly at the start of the prestigious tournament in Qatar.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion is only focusing on his recovery and has not yet started practicing, wanting to avoid suffering relapses that could compromise his goals in the near future.

In addition, the 37-year-old from Belgrade would be willing to continue his collaboration with Andy Murray even after AO but the two legends have not yet found an agreement.

Novak will arrive in Doha early and will use next week to test his sensations and get used to the conditions.

The Serbian champion is trying in every way to extend his career and has shown that he is still competitive at the highest level.

In a recent interview with ‘Mundo Deportivo’, Rafa reflected on his rivalry with Roger and Novak: “My career is linked to both of them, the three of us have pushed each other to be better.
